# VoiceDrop AI

> VoiceDrop AI is an iOS app that turns voice recordings into accurate written text in seconds. Users can record directly in the app, import audio files (M4A, MP3, WAV, AAC), or share recordings straight from Apple Voice Memos. Transcription is powered by OpenAI Whisper / GPT-4o and supports 57 languages with auto-detect. Every transcription gets an AI-generated 3–5 word title. Audio is never stored after transcription — only the resulting text is saved to the user's account.

VoiceDrop AI is built for journalists, students, professionals, podcasters, and anyone who thinks better out loud than in writing. The app is currently launching on iOS (App Store ID 6760600558) and is in TestFlight beta. There is no Android version yet. The marketing site lives at https://tryvoicedrop.com.

Pricing: Free (10 min / month, forever), Pro ($7.99/mo or $79.99/year, 1,200 min / month), Max ($13.99/mo or $139.99/year, 2,400 min / month). All plans include AI-generated titles, 57 languages, in-app recording, file import, and Voice Memos share-sheet integration. Subscriptions are billed via Apple and can be cancelled anytime in iOS Settings.

Privacy posture: audio is sent securely to OpenAI for transcription and deleted immediately after the transcript is returned. VoiceDrop AI does not store audio files on its servers — only the text transcript is persisted, tied to the user's account.
